The land on which Sörla Luxury Camp is located is a place where much of what makes Iceland so unique converges – spectacular nature, vibrant flora and fauna, rich soil, unparalleled views of the northern lights far away from the light pollution of the city, and more. The two highest points on the property, on either side of the camp, offer stunning views of the surrounding areas and are easily accessible by foot. Depending on the season, you may catch a glimpse of wild foxes, mink, sheep, and horses during your stay. The current owners purchased Sörla in 1995 and, initially paying little attention to the beauty of the land, first used it as pastureland for grazing horses. Once they realized the property’s potential, it was gradually developed, with the first project being the luxury camp.
