Each tipi tent is 45 m2 (485 ft2) and includes two high-quality Jensen beds and mattresses that can be arranged as two separate twins (90 x 200 cm) or connected with a quality mattress topper to form a king bed (180 x 200).
Immerse yourself in Iceland’s raw nature with a stay in a Nordic tipi tent. Experience the authentic feel of outdoor living, reminiscent of the old days, where the temperature inside the tent reflects the natural environment. Each tent has a heating system for those who prefer more heated comfort; You can choose either a heated air tunnel that imitates wind gust sounds or electric heaters that offer minimal sound but optimal heating, or even both. On especially cold days, silent radiant heat during the day provides additional warmth, ensuring you stay cozy while enjoying the stunning surroundings.
We want you to be in harmony with nature at Sörla Luxury Camp, and while we’ve taken measures to make sure no critters make their way into your tipi, it’s always a possibility in the Icelandic countryside. Rest assured that there are no poisonous insects or other dangerous wildlife in Iceland, so if you do find yourself face-to-face with any critters, there’s no need to be concerned.
To maintain a tranquil environment, tipis are not equipped with televisions. However, high-speed wireless internet is available throughout The Camp. All tipis are non-smoking (this includes vapes/e-cigarettes).
The bathrooms feature a walk-in shower and heated towel racks, allowing you to hang up your bathroom towel for quick and hygienic drying or to keep a clean towel toasty warm for when you need it.
For your comfort, quality bathrobes and slip-on shoes are provided, making it easy to walk from your tipi to the bathhouse, which is conveniently located nearby to enhance your connection to nature.
Additionally, you’ll find skincare products and other amenities, along with a hair dryer and hair straightener for your convenience.
