At Sörla Camp, guests can enjoy a wide variety of seasonal outdoor explorations to enhance their stay. Try your hand at axe throwing, unwind in our oversized hammock, or challenge friends on the frisbee golf course. Enjoy casual games like darts, Jenga, cricket, and Viking chess, or spend a cozy evening with board and card games.

For nature lovers, guided or self-guided hikes offer breathtaking panoramic views and opportunities for bird watching. With so many experiences available, every day at Sörla Camp promises unforgettable experiences in the stunning Icelandic landscape!

Inspired by Nordic traditions, Sörla Camp offers a wide range of things to do on ground, for Guests to explore on campsite. From axe throwing to Viking chess, both indoors and outdoors, there’s something for every guest to enjoy.

There’s so much to do and see at Sörla Camp. Explore a complete range of outdoor play, from nature walks and hikes to northern lights hunting. Enjoy outdoor play with ax throwing, frisbee golf, darts, cricket, baseball, bird-watching, or relax in our giant hammock. If you feel like staying inside, we have a variety of board and card games.

Campfires

Two outdoor fireplaces add extra warmth and ambiance in chilly weather. One is tripod-style, while the other is a more rustic pit fireplace dug into the ground.

Sörla’s third fireplace is located in one of the most stunning spaces on the property. The gazebo, made of Icelandic spruce, features expansive windows that allow you to take in sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. Sliding doors can be opened in warmer weather to create a hybrid indoor-outdoor space and closed for protection from the elements on cooler days.

Campfires are weather-dependent.
